Taking Part
Racing with SEMSEC

Each year there are over 200 race meetings in this country, providing opportunities for a wide variety of cars – from standard road going saloons to slight and heavily modified saloons and single seater racing cars. There are many keenly contested championships based on regions, individual circuits, makes of car or types of car. Although motor racing can never be truly cheap, racing at club level is the backbone of the sport in this country and need not be prohibitively expensive. It is still possible to race a car which you have driven to the circuit, You just need to hope you can drive it home again!

TWMC has a long association with SEMSEC (South East Motor Sports Enthusiasts Club) and TWMC members make up the board or directors. SEMSEC meetings are largely held at the Lydden Circuit near Dover and once a year visit Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent.
