It goes without saying that TWMC members have at least one thing in common - an interest in motor sport. However, whether you compete on a regular basis, or dream of the opportunity to do so or maybe even hate motor sport but are a friend or relative of an 'enthusiast', the club holds a number of social events to suit all tastes!

Club nights are usually held on the first Tuesday in the month and offer a mixture of functions from motoring events, such as ghmkanas and treasure hunts for a bit of light-hearted competition, to the ever popular family nights such as barbeques and a fireworks party.

The 'Social Scene', newsletter informs members of forthcoming events. Visits to ten-pin bowling, Spedeworth racing at Arlington and racing of the four-legged and furry variety at Brighton and Hove's greyhound stadium have become annual events. The club combines with SEMSEC to hold an annual Dinner Dance and trophy presentation evening, which is always a sell-out.
